Clozex Emergency Laceration Closures
Clozex closures offer a user-friendly solution for skin closure, featuring a design that's intuitive and easy to master. The closures effectively and evenly bring together both sides of the wound, simplifying the application process. To use, simply select the right size device for the wound length, align it, and secure the wound edges together. For larger wounds, multiple Clozex devices can be used in sequence, adhering to the same straightforward method. The devices come with numbered (1, 2, 3) and color-coded (red, white, blue) liners, providing an easy guide for the order of liner removal during application.
The package includes 3 individually wrapped, sterile Clozex Closures in sizes of 3/4 inches (20mm), 1 1/2 inches (40mm), and 2 inches (50mm). They are designed for versatility - a single device can be used for wounds matching its length or multiple devices can be used side by side for longer wounds.
Clozex Closures are an innovative, non-invasive, and pain-free alternative to traditional stitches, ideal for treating small cuts and lacerations. They are perfect for use in various situations – at home, work, or during outdoor activities like hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, biking, and even for kitchen accidents, vacation emergencies, car kits, home repairs, or construction work.
Applying Clozex is simple and provides durable results. Its patented interlaced design aligns the skin edges in three dimensions, ensuring a quick closure of lacerations with aesthetically pleasing results. Just place it on the skin, bring the wound edges together, and let it stay in place during the healing process.
Clozex is particularly suited for children and the elderly, as its adhesive-based, topical skin closure doesn't puncture the skin, reducing the intimidation factor during application and removal. It's clinically proven to minimize the scarring typically associated with stitches.
As a medical-grade, FDA-cleared product, Clozex was originally developed for use by medical professionals in surgeries, emergency rooms, and urgent care centers. Now, it's also available for personal use as an over-the-counter wound closure device. Its effectiveness and safety have been validated in numerous clinical studies conducted at leading hospitals.
